UAB at Tennessee
On openening day, UAB goes into Tennessee and they go to play, but not in the first quarter. Tennessee pulls away from UAB and within six minutes, the Volunteers have a 10-0 lead. The touchdown here was due to a fumble recovery on the UAB 33 yard line. UAB finally answers by scoring a field goal in the second quarter, but the Blazers' defence gives up another touchdown to Tennessee with less than a minute to go in the first half.

In the second half, not a whole lot happens until the fourth quarter of the game. UAB pops up with an 86 yard drive into the endzone for a touchdown, after making a crucial interception deep in their own territory. Afterwards, the Blazer defence comes up with yet another interception on the next Volunteer drive. Their offence drives down 33 yards but throws an incomplete pass on 4th down at the Tennessee 12. And with that, the game practically ended.
